Remembrance Day

November 11th

“On Remembrance Day, we honour the memory of those members of the Canadian Forces who, in times of war and conflict, gave their all to defend the values of justice, peace and security.
It is thanks to them and to the sacrifices that they and their families have made, that we are privileged to live in a free and democratic society.
Take a minute of silence on November 11th at 11am to remember those who have served, those who have served and never returned; and those who are serving at home and abroad today.
Lest we forget”

Poppy Campaign

Every year, from the last Friday in October to Remembrance Day (November 11th), millions of Canadians wear a Poppy as a visual pledge to never forget those who served and sacrificed. The red flower also is the symbol of the Legion’s Poppy Campaign, raising funds to support Veterans and their families in need. We invite everyone to show their recognition by proudly wearing this symbol of Remembrance.
The Albany Medical Clinic is proud to support our Veterans by having Poppies available on-site from October 25 – November 11 for all who wish to wear one.
Donations to the Poppy Campaign are gratefully accepted and we thank you for supporting our Veterans.

RSV, Flu Shots are in Stock!

RSV VACCINES We have the RSV Vaccine (Arexvy) in stock. RSV is a virus that can cause serious respiratory illness including pneumonia especially in the young and elderly.  Currently, we recommend that anyone over the age of 60 consider having the vaccine, but specifically if you are at high risk due to other health issues.

Our updated Uninsured Services List is now posted on our website.  While OHIP covers the majority of your healthcare needs, there are services and forms that you as a patient will ask either your family doctor or specialist to complete for which you will be asked to make payment.
