We reserve the right to close prior to stated hours for operational reasons. If we have a high volume of patients, the Walk-in Clinic may close earlier than stated hours.
Walk-in Clinic or Hospital Emergency Department?
Come to our Walk-in Clinic for treatment of:
- Nausea, vomiting and flu
- Coughs, cold and fevers
- Ear, nose, throat and eye problems
- Minor cuts that may need stitches
- Sprains, strains or sports injuries
- Minor asthma flare-ups or allergic reactions
Go to a Hospital Emergency Department
*Call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Department when you need care for symptoms such as:
- Trouble breathing
- Bleeding that won’t stop
- Chest pain or pressure
- Broken bones
- Partial or total amputation of a limb
- Traumas or injuries to the head
- Deep cuts or wounds
- Severe burns
- Severe pain
- Poisoning
- Loss of consciousness – unable to wake
- Sudden headaches, dizziness, weakness, numbness, trouble seeing or speaking
- Mental health issues (overdose, thoughts of suicide, self-harm or harm to others)
- Severely ill or injured children and infants
- Obstetrical emergencies (early pregnancy complications, labour and delivery)
Albany patients (rostered to a family doctor) only: If you have tested positive for COVID, and can’t get an appointment with your Albany family doctor, please let our booking staff know you are a patient of a family doctor here at the Clinic and a phone appointment will be offered with our Walk-in Clinic or your own family doctor. Do not come into the Clinic with a confirmed case of COVID-19 – please continue to self-isolate at home.
