Psychotherapy

Therapy promotes positive self-awareness, to reduce symptoms of mental health concerns; my focus includes an integrative psychodynamic psychotherapy model, personalized in the treatment of mental health that combines a traditional approach in order to provide individual comprehensive therapeutic treatment.

There are times in our lives when many of us struggle with emotional health. Having a safe space to share our experiences is an important step to change. At times it can feel as if we are not in control. We can get stuck in old habits. Struggling with difficult and conflicting emotions. It is important to know that you are not alone. When we begin to pay close attention to what’s happening, we start to uncover what it is we need to process, and what it is we need to strengthen.

“Barbara’s approach to therapy is client focused and heart centered. She is a trusted colleague who provides a safe space for therapeutic changes gently, organically and safely.”
