Winter Season
Snow, icy conditions, cold winds and less sunshine pose health challenges for children, teens, adults and seniors. Taking precautions is a must, against sports injuries, heart attacks, hypothermia, getting a cold or flu, while engaging in such activities as snow shovelling, snowboarding, skiing, skating, tobogganing or winter driving/travel.
We encourage you to talk to one of our family physicians about any winter sport/activity that may affect your health. The Albany Medical Clinic also offers these services:
- Our Walk-in Clinic is open 7 days a week, every day of the year
- Our pharmacists will be more than happy to advise you on the many OTC (over the counter) products, as well as our selection of vitamins, supplements and diabetic supplies.
- We offer outpatient physiotherapy treatment to Albany Medical Clinic patients, as well as others in the community.
- X-Ray - general diagnostics services
- Travel Medicine Clinic
- Visit our clinic directory for a listing of our other services.
- Download our Influenza .. The Flu handout.
